`THE FOUNDER
AS a child, I grew up in one of Uganda’s poorest slums, where every day I watched my mother endure violence behind closed doors. At just 10 years ,I carried that pain with me and when I finally ran away,I found that so many women and young people around me were trapped in the same cycle of abuse.
I refused to let that be the end of the story,in 2022,I founded option one initiative Uganda limited- to turn pain into purpose. We create safe spaces where survivors are heard, where women and youth can heal, and where they gain skills to rebuild their lives with dignity and hope.
This is more than an organization-its alifeline. And with your support,we can reach more women and youth,so that no one else has to suffer in silence the way my mother and so many others did.
